I love winter skies. The low sun refracts the light into a colour rainbow turning the snowy white into anything but. Crimson skies, pink mountain tops, smudges of light peaking shyly through the clouds painting images that challenge the way we think of winter.
The series of images here have been captured over a few winters, at dawn or in the evening, in the Alpine village of Villars-sur-Ollon in the French speaking part of Switzerland, close to Chamonix and Massif du Mont Blanc.
